Quality & Testing Procedures Followed

We follow at our end well defined quality and testing procedures that allow us to successfully handle the demands of quality batteries and associated accessories. They include:

Procedure for Each Battery -

• Unique Serial Number Sticker put to identify battery
• Manufacturer generally provides only “date-code”
• Open Circuit Voltages and Physical Condition on receipt recorded (This is used to judge the consistency of the lot)
• Internal resistance and OCV after charge recorded

We also conduct testing of random samples that include –

• Complete discharge test of randomly selected samples of each model each Lot
• Deviations reported to manufacturer for his guidance

Further, each battery is top charged using charger with separate regulated channel as we have learnt that Sealed Lead Acid batteries staying in discharged condition for long in Indian condition do not perform well. We recharge all batteries if they are not sold due to any reason within 4 months of last charge / receipt.
